Mariah serves as Senior Property Manager at LaPlante Real Estate and is also a dynamo REALTOR®. Although she is newer to the role of real estate agent, Mariah brings years of experience in the real estate industry. Her dedication and tenacity are evident to both her coworkers and our clients.
What’s one word you’d use to describe working here—and why?
Transformative.
Working here has been more than a job — it has shaped me professionally and personally. It has elevated my standards, strengthened my leadership, refined my communication, and challenged me to think critically in complex situations.
It reflects meaningful growth under pressure. While not always comfortable, it has built resilience and skills that will continue to serve me throughout my career.
How does your role make an impact on customers or the company?
My role is similar to a quarterback on a team. I have to see the entire field before making decisions by understanding the owners’ goals, the residents’ needs, budget constraints, compliance requirements, and long-term strategy all at once.
Like a quarterback, I read the situation, anticipate obstacles, and make calculated decisions that move the property and the company forward.
By seeing the full picture rather than just one play, I help protect investments, maintain strong relationships, and ensure we’re executing in a way that supports both performance and reputation.
